Gaining Baby Belly Weight!
Pregnancy and Weight Gain
A woman of average weight before pregnancy should gain 25 to 35 pounds during pregnancy. Underweight women should gain 28-40 pounds during pregnancy. Overweight women may need to gain only 15-25 pounds during pregnancy. You may need to gain more or less weight, depending on what your health care provider recommends.
Where Does the Extra Weight Go During Pregnancy?
Baby 8 pounds
Placenta 2-3 pounds
Amniotic fluid 2-3 pounds
Breast tissue 2-3 pounds
Blood supply 4 pounds
Fat stores for delivery and breastfeeding 5-9 pounds
Uterus increase 2-5 pounds
Total 25 to 35 pounds
Brandy and Willow Grace:
10/13/2010 at 13 weeks 6 days, I weighed 138 lbs
11/15/2010 at 18 weeks 5 days, I weighed 138 lbs
12/22/2010 at 24 weeks 0 days, I weighed 146 lbs

Willow Has the Hiccups Now (So Funny!)
For the past 2 days Willow has had the hiccups. Obviously not the enitre time but once each days and only about 30 times each but it is so funny. I acutally love it and it is my favorite movement so far.
Your pregnancy: 27 weeks
This week, your baby weighs almost 2 pounds (like a head of cauliflower) and is about 14 1/2 inches long with her legs extended. She's sleeping and waking at regular intervals, opening and closing her eyes, and perhaps even sucking her fingers. With more brain tissue developing, your baby's brain is very active now. While her lungs are still immature, they would be capable of functioning — with a lot of medical help — if she were to be born now. Chalk up any tiny rhythmic movements you may be feeling to a case of baby hiccups, which may be common from now on. Each episode usually lasts only a few moments, and they don't bother her, so just relax and enjoy the tickle.

Willow is Listening to Taylor Swift Music
Willow has now gotten to the point where she moves ANY time that I sit still. She has tons of energy and I have no idea what she can be doing inside my belly. So, today I am letting her listen to more music to see if that calms her down. I am letting her listen to my favorite singer Taylor Swift. She is not moving! I think I have found a way to get her to relax a bit until she gets out. I love being completely in charge right now....I am sure that wont last long!
